Introduction
On September 30, 2019, One Tech Nepal, in partnership with our parent company One Corporation and our CSR initiative One Youth, successfully completed a transformative project at Manakot Secondary School in Bajura. This initiative aimed to bring much-needed educational resources and opportunities to the students of one of Nepal's most remote communities. Here's a breakdown of the work we did, the challenges we overcame, and the impact we hope to make.

The Journey to Manakot
The journey to Manakot was a testament to our team's dedication and commitment. We spent three days traveling from Kathmandu to the village. The first leg of the journey was by bus, followed by a day on a jeep, and the final day was spent walking and carrying all the necessary resources to the school. Despite the challenges, the team remained focused on the mission ahead – providing essential resources for education in a village that had limited access to such tools.

Key Activities and Impact

1. Building a Computer Lab and Library
   With limited access to modern educational resources, we set up a computer lab and library, empowering students with tools for learning and creativity. These facilities are designed to enhance their digital literacy and foster a love for reading.

2. Stationery Donation
   In an effort to support the students' academic endeavors, we provided a large donation of stationery supplies, helping equip them for their studies.

3. Art Competition & Awards
   Encouraging creativity is key to nurturing young minds. We organized an art competition to inspire students and reward their talents, offering prizes to the best entries. This initiative aimed to help them think outside the box and express themselves through art.

4. Basic Computer Training
   In addition to providing computer equipment, we offered basic computer training sessions to equip students with valuable technical skills that will serve them in their future education and career paths.

Community Engagement
Throughout our time in Manakot, we emphasized the importance of education not just to the students but to the entire village. We held community discussions to share the value of education and how it can pave the way for a brighter future.
