Introduction

After a brief pause in our projects due to the COVID-19 pandemic, One Tech Nepal resumed its CSR initiatives in 2021. During the lockdown, we continued to support our clients remotely by providing website design and digital marketing services to various startups. As the COVID-19 restrictions lifted in April 2021, we were able to extend our support to two schools in Bajura, Far West Nepal, providing essential educational resources to students and teachers in the region.

The Journey to Bajura

The journey to Bajura was long and challenging, as the schools were located in remote areas of the region. We traveled across hills and mountains for a total of 8 days to ensure the students received the support they needed. The distance between the two schools was considerable, and we crossed rugged terrains to deliver resources. Despite the challenges, the successful delivery of support to both schools was a testament to our dedication to rural education.

Key Contributions at Two Schools

1. Jivan Jyoti School
   At Jivan Jyoti School, we were able to support 45 students by providing them with:

   • Bags
   • Uniforms
   • Student Essentials (such as notebooks, pencils, and other school supplies)

   These contributions ensured that the students had the necessary tools for their academic journey, helping them stay focused on their education without the burden of financial constraints.

2. Jana Jyoti School
   At Jana Jyoti School, we supported 190 students with:

   • New Uniforms
   • Bags filled with essentials
   • A Laptop and Printer for the school to help with administrative tasks and digital learning
   • Books for the Library to enhance the students’ learning environment

   By donating laptops and books, we not only provided the students with tangible resources but also helped the school improve its educational infrastructure, bringing much-needed IT resources to the rural area.

A Successful Mission

Despite the challenging terrain and logistical hurdles, the project was a success. The 8-day journey highlighted our commitment to providing rural students with the educational tools they need to thrive. The schools are now equipped with both educational materials and IT resources that will have a lasting impact on their students.

Throughout this period, One Tech Nepal remained dedicated to both supporting rural education and delivering top-notch services to our clients in the city. We balanced our CSR projects with providing essential digital marketing and website design services to startups, ensuring businesses in urban areas continued to grow and succeed.
